In practice
An explicit workspace setting
Two-factor authentication is off when the company is created. Once enabled for an account, login requires a password followed by a temporary code or recovery code.
When company policy requires it, members cannot disable their second factor themselves. New invitees complete setup before accessing recruitment data.
Controls beyond signing in
Sensitive actions require recent verification and the current password. Renewing recovery codes invalidates old ones; security changes trigger notifications.
Candidate data stays within its company scope and on approved European services. The trust centre describes service measures, documents and limitations.
Frequently asked questions
Is the code sent by SMS?
No. Recruiter second-factor authentication uses a TOTP-compatible authenticator app. It does not require a phone number.
What if I lose my authenticator?
Use a recovery code saved during setup or ask another company administrator to reset your factor. An email link alone does not bypass this protection.
Can I require it for administrators too?
Yes. Company policy applies to all internal members, including administrators and future invitees.
